Simple Vanilla Cupcake Recipe

In order to find the perfect vanilla cupcake recipe, I guess I have to start trying out different ones. This particular one I found great in terms of preparation. Basically theres no need to cream butter and sugar first, or slowly add eggs and flour....simply put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix! I found the recipe on www.faircake.co.uk and its a nice light vanilla sponge. The recipe also requires cooking on a slightly lower heat, but be careful not to overcook by even a few minutes on these as they go quite hard if you do. I've used this recipe loads of times and think it's great!

First Attempt Cupcakes, Baby Shower

So as I couldn't afford a gift at the time of the baby shower, I thought baking some yummie cupcakes for the occasion would hopefully make up for that. Well they sure did, and compliments were aplenty and lips were licked! I really enjoyed baking them, simple vanilla cupcakes with a yummy vanilla butter cream frosting...and I found these cute little sugared baby feet that looked really effective on top! I thought these went down well for my first attempt!
